I don’t believe anything that Mr Soros says as unlike guys like Peter Schiff, Marc Faber or Jim Rogers Soros doesn’t shoot from the heart. The fact that he is buying gold while openly declaring a bubble is proof that he and his associates don’t want to invite Mum, Dad and Joe plumber or whatever they call the blue collar class to the party. He is well aware that gold will double in years to come but is also trying to push the worthless, backed by nothing (IOU) SDR’s of the IMF. I wouldn’t trust any comments about Gold from someone that has an interest in Special Drawing Rights as far as I could kick him.

Another idea that most would not recognize at this stage, given the complacency of the GATA crowd, (and I say complacency, because any and all market moves in gold are just chalked up to the same paradigm) is that its very probable that a corner in the gold market is in the works, but not where you would expect it.

The bigger players are not vying for cornering the above ground supply of gold, or the futures price per se, as you would in oil, but the sum total of all of the bullion markets in the world.

NOW STICK THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT.
