In the first video it was noted that Thor lake has been explored for 30 years and that Avalon is just one more company in a parade that have come and left. What's the difference with Avalon? Were none of the previous companies looking for REEs?

Len,

Avalon expects production to begin in 2013. In the meantime, I expect their stock to appreciate as more investors become aware of the sector and this company. Also, any positive drill results, intersections, updates on feasibility, etc. could all help to make this company an excellent investment not in 10 years, but over the next few years.

Since it takes an average 10 years from finding a REEs deposit to actual mining production..none of these can be considered "short term" investments!
