that comment about about debt being against his religion is triggering me to realize now that i don't really want debt at any cost. The debt slavery trap is created when we buy real estate (or other stuff) with borrowed money - i and am not willing to play that game anymore. i am taking my ball and bat and going home. i plan to downsize and get some freedom that way. We can collectively beat the Fed and the wall street/banking crooks by simply not borrowing .

There are some good points here, but there is lots of nonsense. Money are medium of exchange and subesquently image of wealth. For money to have value, there have to be produts and services in the marketplace. These market products and services are produced by labor. Those who gave themselves right to print and debase money are in control. Rest of us have to labor for it. If you call it a slavery, hmmm ... it depends on your state of mind and abuse of power by those who control money supply. I have no debt and it is against my religion to take a loan. You can do likewise.
