Jason, I *so* wish I had read this article 6 months ago when you originally wrote it! Sigh. I had similar intuition and came to the same conclusion as you but I had yet to stumble upon ProShare's wide selection of short ETFs.

Unfortunately my hand-picked short portfolio consisting primarily of homebuilders securities has seen a rough couple of months. I attribute this to the current situation already being priced-in coupled with a pervasive bullish market sentiment that believes we're near the bottom and the tide is ripe with cheap buys despite the fact that the fundamentals and future outlook have yet to improve.

I wonder, have you moved away from ultra shorts in your portfolio, perhaps to 1x contrarian funds?

The SRS is definitely going up. Since it's tied to CDSs it could get problematic but there is A LOT of upside potentional.

Julian Robertson, one of the money masters of our time, is making his money of CDSs.

HELLO,

I AM VERY INTERESTED IN RECEIVING MORE OF YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS. I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH THE SRS ETF AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF YOU STILL LIKE IT GOING FORWARD BASED ON THE CURRENT STATE OF THE HOUSING ECONOMY. THANK YOU ERIC BROWN
