A very powerful documentary was recently released entitled Zeitgeist Addendum. It is sure to offend many of you, inspire others, but is certainly relevant information to consider given the current state of the world and of particular interest for contrarian and gold investors. Among other topics, it covers the creation of the Federal Reserve, domination of the world by bankers, the IMF/World Bank’s exploitation of small countries, the destruction of the dollar, Ron Paul, religion and how we might be able to change our current direction and move towards a more peaceful and fulfilling world. Regardless of whether you agree with the movie’s views on religion and proposed solutions, it explains our banking and economic system in a very compelling and digestable manner. Some criteque about the 2nd hour of the film about economics (or lack of it): http://tinyurl.com/44drf6
There are some good points here, but there is lots of nonsense. Money are medium of exchange and subesquently image of wealth. For money to have value, there have to be produts and services in the marketplace. These market products and services are produced by labor. Those who gave themselves right to print and debase money are in control. Rest of us have to labor for it. If you call it a slavery, hmmm … it depends on your state of mind and abuse of power by those who control money supply. I have no debt and it is against my religion to take a loan. You can do likewise.
